Tagging Time:
I live in Europe, GMT+1/2, so expect me to be asleep during prime American time! However, I usually reply at the very least once a day, sometimes twice or more.
Fourthwall:
Let's avoid fourth-wall breaks unless they make sense. I'm looking to play Monika in scenarios where she won't be all the time depressed because she's aware she's a RP character. Jokey things in brackets or brief allusions are just fine though!
Offlimits:
Gorey stuff. Gross stuff like anything bathroom related and whatnot. Just, don't do that. It's off-limits not only OOCly but ICly as well.
Threadhopping:
Ask first? If it makes sense then sure, but that's something I feel ought to be judged on a case by case basis.
Handwaving:
Sure! Handwaving abandoned threads or small interactions? Just fine! But for big and important things, I would rather play them please.
In Character
Physical/Mental Contact:
Yes, of course! She is always happy with physical contact such as hugs and cute things. Mental contact may be unexpected but she'll accept it if coming from someone she trusts or depending on the scene. She may get pretty angry or offended at less virtuous kind of physical contact, though.
Flirting/Affection:
Monika lives for the sake of love! So, yes please. In a game, I would rather romances develop naturally, if any happen at all. In memes and PSLs, I'm happy plotting for romances ahead of time. And Monika is very affectionate, so expect to get more than you bargained for.
Fighting:
If a scene leads into it or if we plot it sure, though I don't have much interest in playing fighting scenes. In purely physical battles, she'll probably lose. If her powers are available, then that's another matter entirely.
Injury/Death:
Only if we plot for it or if it happens naturally in the course of a scene. Mostly for the sake of drama or hurt/comfort. Death is very likely to be a no.
Opt-out:
Monika is likely to speak of very touchy subjects, such as suicidal ideation & suicide, self-harm, existential crisis, etc. If you don't want her to speak of this, please do tell me and I'll make sure it won't happen!
Powers / Abilites
Virtual World Manipulation:
Within her digital reality, Monika can manipulate the code. It results in her changing her surrounding, changing characters and all sorts of creepy stuff. She can delete people, which is pretty much killing them. She is incredibly powerful in digital settings. Sometimes her powers will translate to magic in the real world, but she's much less powerful.
"Sixth Sense:"
Monika can feel whether she's in the real world or a made-up reality. More accurately, she can feel the presence of the real world beyond the confine of made-up realities, and she can't sense anything when actually in the real world. That means she may know it when she gets somewhere that's not real.
Shipping
Monika's Love
Monika is desperate for love and affection. Which means she may very well try to hit on your character, because if they make her feel less miserable in any way, that's how she is. That doesn't mean OOCly I'm pushing for the pairing though! Her realizing the gratefulness and relief she feels aren't love is something very fun to play, too.
Preferences:
Monika has no standards... But she desperately needs to set some standards for herself. I am looking for scenes in which she'll realize what Love really is, where she'll realize what she felt in the game wasn't love but despair. Hypnosis is my all time favorite kink, and anything with someone having power over Monika (with Monika willingly releasing power) would be amazing. I would really be happy with characters who would pamper Monika and take care of her. Cute and fluffy wins the day!
But dark and fluffy can be interesting to play too. Scenarios where Monika has to move out of her comfort zone or stumble on villains who would exploit her desperate need to escape her reality could be fun. Corruption is the flip side to hypnosis, but with a focus on turning her evil and obedient to the villainous character.
Smut:
So long as there is proper build-up, then yes! I'm not too crazy about playing pure smut threads with no context or lead-in whatsoever. Having proper build-up or pre-existing CR is a must.
