It is because I hope for a happy ending that I was ready to sacrifice my memories in the first place... Though depending on what the future holds for me, it might very well be naivety rather than hopefulness.

...naivety or not, so long as you can fight for your happy ending, then you should. Trying to grasp that, no matter what we need to do in the process...sometimes that is all we can do.

Drake wasn't human but mentally was in all point identical to what one would call a human. Maybe they should find a different word than humanity to define the nature of sentient beings everywhere ]
